Edi Tchakoma

Founder & Executive Director

Edi leads HDF Malawi with lived experience and a deep commitment to supporting vulnerable communities. Having experienced displacement firsthand, he built this organisation from the ground up to create the kind of support he once needed.

He oversees overall strategy, international operations, and programme development across both Malawi and British Columbia, Canada — ensuring every initiative remains accountable, community-driven, and impactful.
